Tebow To Make Start in Season Finale

Tim Tebow will make his third straight start on Sunday, in the regular season finale for the Denver Broncos. Tebow, after an excellent career at the University of Florida was drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft. After not getting a lot of action early in the season, Tebow has started the last two games.

The first game was a loss for the struggling Broncos against the Oakland Raiders. In that game, Tebow threw for just 138 yards. Then the quarterback helped lead his team from 13 points back in the final quarter last week to down the Houston Texans. In the win, Tebow threw for 308 yards.

Interim head coach Eric Studesville made the decision to start Tebow over veteran Kyle Orton. Orton has a heavy extension for next season that the Broncos may not sign.

Denver is 4-11 on the season; tied with three other teams for the second worst record in all of the National Football League. The Broncos will take on the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
