Preview: The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins will get together at the TD Garden on Tuesday evening.

The Maple Leafs come into the action with a 23-27-6 record, which is 12th in the Eastern Conference. The Maple Leafs trail 8th seeded Carolina by 10 points for the final postseason position. Toronto has struggled a bit on the road, going 10-16-1. The Maple Leafs have lost two straight games, including their last time out when the Montreal Canadiens shut them out. Toronto is 27th in the league in scoring, averaging just 2.5 goals per game. The Maple Leafs are led by left wing Clarke McArthur. He has 44 points, which is the most on the team.

The Boston Bruins come in as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Their 31-18-7 record have them with 69 points, which is just one better than Montreal for the lead in the Northeast Division. The Bruins are coming off back-to-back losses to the Detroit Red Wings. Boston ranks second in the league in goals allowed, as they are allowing just 2.3 per game. Offensively, the Bruins are scoring 3.1 goals per game, which is 5th in the NHL. Patrice Bergeron is the leading scorer for Boston. He has 45 points on the season.

My Betting Predictions: Boston snaps their losing streak and comes away with a win. Bruins win this one 4-2.
