NFL Playoff Predictions: Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons

Green Bay Packers (11-6) @ Atlanta Falcons (13-3)

Time: 8:00 pm EST

Point Spread: Atlanta Falcons -2.5

Over/Under Line: 43

Preview: In the NFC, the sixth seeded Green Bay Packers will take on the top seed – Atlanta Falcons. The Packers and Falcons played on November 28th, with Atlanta coming away with a 20-17 win over the Packers.

Since 2001, the Falcons have won four of the six decisions against Green Bay. The Packers have the biggest point differential in the NFC; second only to the Patriots in the NFL. Green Bay has scored 388 points and allowed just 340. The Packers used their last two regular season games to sneak into the postseason as the #6 seed. Green Bay beat New York and Chicago at home. Green Bay does most of their offense via the pass; with 3922 passing yards coming from Aaron Rodgers.

Atlanta lost just one regular season game at home all season and that was to the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints. Atlanta also uses the right arm of their quarterback quite frequently. Matt Ryan tossed for 3705 yards and 28 touchdowns to just 9 interceptions on the year. Michael Turner and Roddy White are his counterparts in the offense. Turner rushed for 1371 yards and 12 touchdowns, while White caught 115 passes for 1389 yards and 10 touchdowns.

My NFL Betting Predictions: Atlanta Falcons -2.5 and under 43.
