Preview: The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets will play the final game of a three game set at Citi Field. Atlanta comes into the game directly in the mix for a playoff spot in the National League. The Braves are three games back of Philadelphia for the National League East race, and Atlanta also holds a 1.5 game lead on the wildcard position. The Braves picked up a 6-4 win on Friday night to extend their wildcard lead. Atlanta is led by Martin Prado offensively, as he is hitting .312, while Brian McCann has provided the power, with 20 homeruns and 74 runs batted in. The Braves as a team are batting .260, which ranks 13th in all of baseball. The Braves will send veteran pitcher Derek Lowe to the mound in search of his 14th win of the season. Lowe is 13-12 with a 4.22 earned run average on the season. In his career, Lowe has won 154 games in 319 career starts.

To the mound for the Mets will be R.A. Dickey. The knuckleball pitcher holds a 2.80 earned run average, with an 11-6 record. Dickey has won his last two starts; at Washington and with Pittsburgh. The Mets are in third place in the National League East; 13 games below the Braves.

My MLB Betting Picks: The knuckleball pitcher slows the Braves offense down. New York wins 4-1.
