Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who also moonlights as the owner of Italian club AC Milan, recently showed new team manager Massimiliano Allegri who the real boss is as he told Allegri he wants the team to play with more than just one striker up front this season, unlike last year.

Basically, the 73-year-old Berlusconi took over a press conference on the first day of training on July 20, as he answered all of the questions while Allegri and some members of the team just sat there with their mouths zipped closed.

While Berlusconi was in a humorous mood and reeled off some good one-liners, he was dead serious when he told Allegri, the former Cagliari manager, what tactics to use in the upcoming season after Milan ended third in the league last year without a trophy to add to their shelf.

The prime minister and team boss made perfect sense when he said you have to win to score and he wants to see more than one forward up front. He added that players need to be positioned close to the goal to create decent scoring chances and that he missed several games last season because he was angry at the team’s tactics that were put in place by former manager Leonardo.

Berlusconi said he appreciated Leonardo, but definitely didn’t see eye to eye with him when it came to fielding the team. He added that Ronaldinho should play on the shoulder of the strikers even if he likes to drift to the left side of the field. However, rumours have been flying around lately that the Brazilian playmaker might not be staying at the club, but Berlusconi was adamant that he wasn’t going anywhere as he’s a main attraction.

Midfielder Gennaro Gattuso and forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar could be on their way out though before the season kicks off as the club is looking for some creativity and youth. Berlusconi wasn’t too thrilled about the idea of bringing Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic over to AC Milan as he didn’t know if he’d be a good fit in the dressing room.
