World No. 1 Luke Donald and World No. 2 Lee Westwood are 9/1 co-favorites at the 2011 Barclays Scottish Open, the final European Tour event before next week’s British Open. The star-studded field also includes World No. 6 Phil Mickelson, World No. 8 Matt Kuchar, and World No. 9 Graeme McDowell, as well as two-time Scottish Open champion Ernie Els.
This year, the Scottish Open moves to Castle Stuart Golf Links after 15 years at Loch Lomond Golf Club, and Phil Mickelson is excited about the change. “I am really excited,” said Phil. “I feel my game is right there and I have always enjoyed playing in the Barclays Scottish Open. Loch Lomond was great, but playing at a links style course the week before the British Open is an ideal way to get ready.”
