All season long in the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers were thought to be arguably the best team in the league, but during the playoffs they look more like the fourth best team behind the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and the Boston Celtics.

With every passing season in the NBA, LeBron James gets more and more recognition as quite possibly the best all around player in the league. This season he has gotten more recognition for his skills on both ends of the floor and as a result has been selected to the NBA All-Defensive team, All-NBA First Team and won his second MVP award in a row.

With all this recognition, hype and praise for Lebron James this season, the Cleveland Cavaliers seemed like they were poised to make a legitimate run at an NBA title. Not only has Lebron James had arguably his best season as a pro so far, but he also got some vital pieces to the puzzle in Shaquille O’Neal and Antawn Jamison.

Coming into the NBA playoffs this season, the Cleveland Cavaliers were the odds-on favorite to win the NBA title as they headed in to the postseason with the number one overall best record and of course LeBron playing at an extremely high level.

Despite everyone jumping on the Cleveland Cavaliers bandwagon once again this season, the Chicago Bulls gave them some trouble in the first round and it seems as though the Boston Celtics have what it takes to beat them and knock them out of the playoffs in the second round.

There’s no doubting the Celtics resolve or ability to excel in the face of adversity, but many people believed that this season was an indication of the end of a short era in Boston has Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are arguably nearing the end of their career in the NBA.

Even though almost everyone has had the Cavs advancing to the Eastern Conference finals once again this season, the Boston Celtics have played brilliantly in the second round series with LeBron James and company and are on the verge of eliminating the Eastern Conference favorites in game six on their home floor in Boston.

In game five of this series, the Boston Celtics just dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers in every which way and were able to contain LeBron James and force them into bad shots all game long.

Obviously, this series could be far from over as LeBron could turn it around in game six, but I believe you may have seen the end of LeBron in Cleveland as the Boston Celtics will advance in the series.
