Last week, the 2012 European Tour Race to Dubai got started with Louis Oosthuizen successfully defending his African open. This week, it’s another South African major winner’s turn: 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel will try to win his third straight Joburg Open and is the 10/3 betting favorite to do so. Retief Goosen is expected to provided his stiffest competition.

Schwartzel isn’t the only former Joburg Open champion in the field, 2008 winner Richard Sterne will also be teeing it up. England’s Danny Willett has the best odds of any European golfer at 25/1.
