The 2011 World Series shifts to Texas starting Saturday night, when the Rangers are -200 favorites against the visiting St. Louis Cardinals. The Series is tied 1-1 even though Texas didn’t have its first lead until the ninth inning of Game Two. The Over/Under for Game Three is 9.5 runs, which seems a bit high since the two teams have combined for four runs each through the first two games.

Saturday’s pitching matchup seems to favor the Rangers, who start lefthander Matt Harrison against Cardinals righthander Kyle Lohse. The Rangers have won Harrison’s two postseason starts this year, while the Cardinals have lost both of Lohse’s playoff starts.

The Cardinals are 4-2 on the road so far this postseason. In both the NLDS and NLCS, St. Louis lost its first road game, then came back to win the next two. The Rangers have won four straight playoff home games since losing Game One of the ALDS to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The Rangers should have momentum after stealing Game Two with a come-from-behind rally in the ninth inning, but the Cardinals should have plenty of confidence since they could easily be up 2-0 heading to Texas and need to win just one of the next three games in Texas to force the Series back to St. Louis.
