With the NFL regular season fast approaching, we at SportsUntapped are taking our crystal balls out of storage and examining each team’s full 16-game schedule to prognosticate how the 2011 season will play out. We’ll look at all 32 teams and reveal each one’s final record. Next up: Michael Vick and the defending NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Philadelphia Eagles

Last year’s record: 10-6.

Vegas Over/Under on 2011 Regular Season Wins: 10.5.

First four games:
Sept. 11 at St. Louis, 1 p.m.
Sept. 18 at Atlanta, 8:20 p.m.
Sept. 25 N.Y. Giants, 1 p.m.
Oct. 2 San Francisco, 1 p.m.

Vick will probably light up the Rams in Week 1 and must be thrilled to finally have some support this season. The Falcons at the Georgia Dome will be tough, and there could be a letdown the next week against the Giants. We’ll put the Eagles down for 3-1 to start the season since they won’t have any problems against the 49ers in Week 4.

Second four games:
Oct. 9 at Buffalo, 1 p.m.
Oct. 16 at Washington, 1 p.m.
Oct. 23 BYE
Oct. 30 Dallas, 8:20 p.m.
Nov. 7 Chicago, 8:30 p.m.

The Redskins probably won’t let Vick and the Eagles score 56 points again, but there should probably be at least three more wins here for a 6-2 mark midway through the campaign.

First four games of the second half:
Nov. 13 Arizona, 1 p.m.
Nov. 20 at N.Y. Giants, 8:20 p.m.-x
Nov. 27 New England, 4:15 p.m.
Dec. 1 at Seattle, 8:20 p.m.

Arizona is an obvious win, but even a road game in Seattle late in the year could be tough. If the Eagles only get one other win out of the next three, that puts them at 8-4 after 12 games.

Last four games:
Dec. 11 at Miami, 1 p.m.
Dec. 18 N.Y. Jets, 4:15 p.m.
Dec. 24 at Dallas, 4:15 p.m.
Jan. 1 Washington, 1 p.m.

Dallas right after the Jets is tough too, so I see at least one loss there and a slightly underachieving final record of 11-5.
