San Francisco Giants (2-0) @ Texas Rangers (0-2)
Date: Saturday October 30th, 2010
Time: 6:57 pm EST
Preview: The San Francisco Giants will look to put a complete strangle hold on the 2010 World Series Saturday night when they play game 3 in Arlington. It will be the first ever World Series game played at home for the Texas Rangers.
The Giants, after scoring 11 runs in game one, shut out Texas in game 2 to win both games at Pac Bell Park. San Francisco will send young left handed pitcher Jonathan Sanchez to the mound for his first ever World Series appearance. Sanchez is 0-1 in the postseason so far, with 2 no decisions. In his first start against Atlanta, he went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 hits and just 1 run in a game the Giants would later win 3-2. His next start was just six innings, losing at Philadelphia. The second time he faced the Phillies he was only able to get through two innings before the Giants manager elected to pull him. Sanchez during the regular season won 13 games and lost 9. His earned run average was just over 3.00 on the season.

Texas will counter with a youngster also in his World Series debut. Colby Lewis will make the start. Lewis is a 6’4, 230lbs right hander born and raised in Bakersfield, California. Lewis went 12-13 in the regular season, and has went 2-0 in the postseason. After earning a no decision against Tampa Bay, Lewis earned tow wins in the series against the Yankees. Texas will look to get the bats going, after being shut-out on Thursday night. AL MVP Josh Hamilton has been very quiet, not scoring a run for the Rangers.
My Betting Picks: Texas climbs back in the series with a win. It will not be pretty, but the Rangers win this game 8-5.
