Texas Rangers (0-1) @ San Francisco Giants (1-0)
Date: Thursday October 28th, 2010
Time: 7:57 pm EST
Preview: Game two of the 2010 World Series will take place on Thursday night in San Francisco. The Giants won the first game on Wednesday night behind six runs in the fifth inning. San Francisco knocked out Texas’ ace Cliff Lee after just 4.2 innings. The left hander went 3-0 in his first three postseason games this season, but allowed 8 hits and 6 earned runs in the loss. The Giants offense was anchored by Freddie Sanchez’ three hits and Juan Uribe’s three runs batted on; all coming on a homerun. The Giants did not get a great outing, but saw Tim Lincecum go 5.2 innings, allowing 8 hits and 4 runs in the win.

C.J. Wilson will take the mound for Texas. After winning his first postseason game, Wilson took a no decision, and then a loss. Wilson finished the regular season with a 15-8 record. In his career, the left hander from California is 27-28. Matt Cain will take the mound for the Giants. Cain has not pitched since game three of the National League Championship Series on October 19th. In that game, Cain allowed just 2 hits and 0 runs in seven innings. The right hander from Alabama went 13-11 on the season and is 57-62 in his career.
My Betting Picks: Cain pitches well and the San Francisco Giants grab a strangle hold on the 2010 World Series. Once again the Giants offense comes through, which was something that did not always happen during the regular season. San Francisco wins 6-3.
