During the regular season, Lee finished with a 12-9 record and a 3.18 earned run average. The 32 year old will be a free agent when the season ends, so he is pitching for his next contract.

For San Francisco, they will counter with a left hander as well, Tim Lincecum. After finishing the regular season 16-10, Lincecum went 2-1 in the postseason. In the series against Atlanta, he threw a two hit shut-out. Then, against the Phillies, Lincecum won the game one start, then lost in game five. In 23 innings pitched in the postseason, Lincecum has struck out 30 batters.
