Victor Valdes, Barcelona’s man between the pipes, is a great player, he has been ever since his debut with Barcelona’s main squad in 2002. He is always at the top of the keepers list in La Liga but Casillas always seems to overshadow him. His problem is his inconsistency, he can make a spectacular stop one second but then the very next play he can be caught out of position and giving up the easy score.

Casillas’ calling card is his consistency, he seems to always be in the right place at the right time and is always making the best decisions when he is put in those situations. Casillas will prove to the world that he is in fact the best when his team take on the perpetual offensive power that is Germany.
