It is time for Wimbledon semi-finals and although Federer has dropped out of the fantastic four, we still have numbers 1, 2, and 4 in the final four. Today Berdych will battle Djokovic and Nadal the entire British crowd and also Andy Murray. Let’s have a look at these two interesting matchups.

Tomas Berdych vs Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic has Berdych’s number. That should be pretty evident when looking at the two previous matches they’ve played, both easy straight set wins on hardcourts. But you could argue that Tomas Berdych is a different player this year, much more confident, striking the ball cleaner, using his head better. Problem is for Berdych is that Djokovic excels in thundering baseline exchanges and eats up the pace that Berdych creates. This makes it hard for me to believe in Berdych’s chances for a place in the final. If you agree with this view you get 1.80 times your money on a Djokovic win at Bodog. If you pick Berdych you get 1.95 at both Bodog and Sportsinteraction.

There is also set betting possibilities. I think Djokovic will win the match 3-1 and that gives you 5 times your money at Sportsinteraction.

So Djokovic in the final against?

Rafael Nadal vs Andy Murray
Andy Murray has the home crowd, he seems to be in great form, and there is nothing more in life he wants than to win Wimbledon. Is that enough against Rafael Nadal? I don’t think so. Nadal has gears that only one player right now can match and that is Roger Federer. He is up 7-3 in head to head although he lost after retiring in the Australian Open this year. Murray can win this match, it is of course not impossible, as Nadal doesn’t look to be in the same form as he was in 2008. But even a slightly weaker Nadal is still a demon on the tennis court and will fight to the bitter end. I think it will be tougher than the three sets win in 2008, but the pressure from both Rafa and the crowd will be too much for Murray to handle in the end. Nadal in four sets.

You get 1.55 times your money on Nadal at Bodog and 2.37 on Murray at Sportsinteraction. Here you also have set betting possibilities.

Nadal winning in four gives you 3.75 times you money at Sportsinteraction. If you believe in Murray I would pick him winning 3-2 at seven times your money also at Sportsinteraction.
