Week 13 NFL Betting Power Rankings

1. New Orleans Saints (-9.5) After marching into Monday night and crushing the Patriots, there’s no doubt the unbeaten Saints sit atop everyone’s power rankings for Week 13. A near-flawless Drew Brees’ name is getting tossed around in MVP talks and now that they’ve gotten over the New England hump, the rest of their schedule looks like a piece of cake… especially their next contest against the Washington Redskins at FedExField.

2. Indianapolis Colts (-7) You can go ahead and get rid of any doubts you have about the undefeated Colts. After taking care of the Texans, they’re headed back home to take on the Titans and keep their perfect record intact.

3. Minnesota Vikings The Vikings very well could’ve been at the #1 spot this week in the case of losses by the top two teams.  Since that is not the case, the 10-1 team will have to continue to settle for #3, even though they very well could be the best team in football. Look for another Minnesota victory in Arizona this Sunday night.

4. San Diego Chargers (-12.5) The Chargers have their eye on the division, and if they dominate the Browns like they did the Chiefs last Sunday, they’ll be one win closer.

5. New England Patriots (-5) The Pats suffered a tough loss to the Saints Monday night, dropping their record to 7-4. They’ll look to regroup with a win over the Miami Dolphins Sunday afternoon.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (-13) The Bengals barely snuck by the Browns just a week after falling to the Raiders, continuing to have trouble with their passing game. I almost hate to say it, but they’ll have to play on their toes against Matthew Stafford and the Lions this Sunday afternoon.

7. Dallas Cowboys (-2) Sure, they beat the Raiders last week, but they’re favored by just a slim margin over the Giants this Sunday evening.

8. Philadelphia Eagles (-6) The Eagles almost blew it against the Redskins last week, but managed to bring their record to 7-4. This week they’ll take on the 6-5 Falcons, who have lost Matt Ryan (not a tragedy) and Michael Turner to injuries.

9. Green Bay Packers (-3) The Packers offensive line is doing a fine job handling the crappy teams, but we haven’t seen the effects of losing Al Harris and Aaron Kampman on the defense yet. We’ll see how the O-line holds up against the Baltimore defense this Monday night at Lambeau Field. Something tells me Aaron Rodgers will be playing from his ass.

10. Arizona Cardinals Letting Vince Young march 99 yards for the game-winner is not my idea of solid defense. What is their plan of attack against the almighty Brett Favre + Sidney Rice and the Minnesota Vikings running game?
