1. New Orleans Saints (-13.5) The Saints are still on a roll, even though they had to rally against the Carolina Panthers for their third straight tough win, which they’re finding new ways to do. It might be a challenge, but they should be able to get the job done and continue their streak when they head to St. Louis to take on the Rams.
2. Indianapolis Colts (-3) The undefeated Colts are stuck at the number two spot in almost all rankings for week 10, but this week could see a change in that. Sunday night brings us a great matchup against the New England Patriots, with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning facing eachother for the first time in two seasons. In Indy. A Colts victory would keep them on top for a while, but the Pats could make a serious leap up the rankings with a win.
3. Minnesota Vikings (-16.5) Minnesota’s bye week leaves them at #3 heading into their Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions at Mall of America Field. Brett Favre’s arm combined with workhorse Adrian Peterson’s running game are heavy offensive favorites. It seems like no one can stop their defense either, with the Williams Wall and monster Jared Allen eating everyone for breakfast, lunch, and supper.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (-7) Rolling on five in a row now, the Steelers will have a huge showdown against the Bengals this weekend at Heinz Field. Ben Roethlisberger is a career 6-3 against Carson Palmer .
5. Denver Broncos (-4) After their Mile High beatdown in Week 9, the Broncos should be able to salvage some pride this Sunday when they take on the Redskins, who are pretty much screwed without Clinton Portis. The running back suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Falcons and will sit out this week.
6. New England Patriots (+3) After beating the pesky Dolphins, the Patriots are looking at what should be a pretty badass game against the Colts Sunday night. We could see a switch atop the rankings after this one.
7. Cincinnati Bengals (+7) Can I use the words “elite” and “Bengals” in the same sentence? It seems this year we can. However, they have a hardcore task ahead of them with their home game against the Steelers.
8. Dallas Cowboys (- 3) The Cowboys are in sole posession of first place after a giant win over the Eagles last Sunday. They’re headed to Lambeau Field to play the Packers now, who have completely forgotten how to play defense. As far as their offensive line goes? Aaron Rodgers is lucky he doesn’t have any broken bones. That guy must drink a lot of milk.
9. Philadelphia Eagles (+3) The Eagles, who are playing extremely well right now, are staring down a tough road with four of their next five games away from home, including their Week 10 matchup against the Chargers Sunday afternoon. To make things a little tricky for Philly and fantasy owners, running back Brian Westbrook is still questionable after sustaining a concussion in Week 8.
10. San Diego Chargers (-3) Last week, the Chargers came away with a crazy win in New York due to some last second heroics and are ready to head home to face the Eagles. Since they have zero running game, the Eagles defense will have to keep the pressure on Phillip Rivers, who is nailing 60% of his passes this season with 14 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions.
