LaDainian Tomlinson hasn’t even started his first training camp as a New York Jet, but he has already gotten a Jets logo tattoo on his calf. Tomlinson signed with the Jets in March after spending the first nine years of his career with the San Diego Chargers — LT already had a Chargers lightning bolt on one calf.  But what if he gets injured in the preseason?  Well, Tomlinson’s no stranger to bad tattoos — he also reportedly has a tattoo of his mom’s face with the words “MY INSPERATION” underneath (yes, that tattoo does a spelling error).

Jets coach Rex Ryan loves the tattoo: “I think that shows the type of commitment he has.” But it’s more than just the tattoo that has Buddy Ryan’s son excited about his new 31-year-old running back:

I believe he’s got a lot more left. When you watch him out here bouncing around doing a great job with protections, running the football, he’s still got that wiggle.

Last season in his final year in San Diego, Tomlinson wiggled for only 730 yards — it was the first year in his career that he rushed for less than 1000.
