Tiger Woods starts his 2012 PGA Tour season this week at the 2012 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Coming off a third-place finish at Abu Dhabi, Tiger now has top-three finishes in his last three stroke-play events, and is a heavy favorite to win his first PGA Tour event since 2009. Oddsmakers see Dustin Johnson, Nick Watney and Phil Mickelson as Tiger’s stiffest competition.

D.A. Points won here last year and is back to defend his title. Tiger has also won this event, but that was over a decade ago back in 2000. Dustin Johnson won back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010, while Mickelson is a three-time winner here, most recently in 2007. Scotland’s Martin Laird has the best odds of any international golfer in the field.
