First place in the NFC East will be on the line on Sunday night as the 7-5 Dallas Cowboys host the 6-6 New York Giants. The Cowboys are three-point favorites (-195 to -200 money line) and could take a two-game lead in the division with a win. The Giants have lost four straight games but could make the division race much more interesting if they can pull the upset.

Neither team has done well against the spread of late. The Cowboys are just 1-5 ATS over their last six games and 4-7-1 for the year; the Giants are 2-5-1 over their last eight and 5-6-1 on the season. Dallas has been good at home though, going 5-1 straight up, while the Giants are a .500 road team this season. The Giants are coming off a tough home loss to the undefeated Packers, but they at least covered as seven-point underdogs. Last Sunday, the Cowboys were seven-point road favorites but lost to the Cardinals in overtime after some bizarre coaching blunders by Jason Garrett in the final minute of regulation.

Last season, the teams split two games, with the road team winning each game. Prior to that, the Giants had won four of their last five meetings with the Cowboys. The Giants have also won four of their last six games in Dallas.

The Over/Under on the game is 49 points. Recent Giants games have trended Over (six of nine overall, four of six on the road), but Cowboys games have trended Under (six of eight overall, four of six at home). The last four Giants-Cowboys games went Over.

If I was a gambling man: the Cowboys to cover and the Over.
