The 2010-2011 hockey season all comes down to tonight’s Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals as the Vancouver Canucks face the Boston Bruins. The home team has won each of the first six games in the series, and the Canucks are -145 money line favorites to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history and become the first Canadian team to hoist the Cup in 18 years.
Besides the money line there are plenty of prop bets available for the final game of the hockey season, with perhaps the most interesting being lines on which teammate or coach the winning captain will pass the Cup to first during the on-ice celebrations:
If the Canucks win who will Henrik Sedin pass the Stanley Cup to first?
- Daniel Sedin 1/2 – hard not to hand off to your brother
- Sami Salo 5/2
- Roberto Luongo 11/2 — if he can manage a third home shutout in the Finals, maybe Henrik forgets about all those goals in Boston
- Ryan Kesler 6/1
- Manny Maholtra 12/1
- Alex Burrows 15/1
- Kevin Bieksa 18/1 – Canada’s National Post says he’s the Canucks best bet for the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoffs MVP
- Alain Vigneault 20/1
If the Bruins win who will Zdano Chara pass the Stanley Cup to first?
- Tim Thomas 2/5 – has only allowed seven goals combined in the Finals
- Mark Recchi 4/1 – six points in the Finals is pretty good for a 43-year-old
- Patrice Bergeron 9/2
- David Krejci 6/1
- Milan Lucic 10/1
- Brad Marchand 15/1
- Tomas Kaberle 15/1
- Claude Julien 20/1
Other fun prop bets include:
- Will the game go to overtime? (Yes +250, No -325)
- Will Robert Luongo be pulled and replaced by another goaltender? (Yes +500)
- Will Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper be seen at the game wearing a Canucks jersey? (Yes +200)
