A semi-pro soccer player in England has been booted off of his team for shagging a female fan on the sidelines after a recent match. Striker Jay Hart was dismissed by the Clitheroe club of the Evo-Stik Division was caught on film having a romp with the woman on a sideline dugout bench and the film eventually found its way online soon afterwards. Hart was basically caught red handed by a fan with a mobile phone as he was still wearing his team jersey and the video was quickly brought to the attention of the Clitheroe club.
Anne Barker, the chairwoman of the side, released a statement on Clitheroe’s official website which said, “Following a NON-FOOTBALL RELATED incident at Mossley AFC yesterday. Jay Hart has been dismissed from the club. Any players, while wearing a Clitheroe tracksuit, represents the club. We expect a certain level of behaviour and discipline. And that wasn’t it.”
The squad had just lost their road outing 4-1 to Mossley AFC. The home side had hoped to lure more female fans to the match at their Steel Park Stadium in Tameside and held a special Ladies Day promotion to achieve their goal. The 24-year-old Hart reportedly has a girlfriend as well as two children with her. After he was found out he told the Manchester Evening news, “I’m full of regret. I’d had a couple of drinks. I was away from everyone and thought I was hidden.”
The willing female fan was saved the humiliation of shagging on a sideline bench as her face couldn’t be seen in the video. Along with being sacked, Hart was told he has to return the club’s tracksuit. A poll taken online by the Manchester Evening News shows that 55 per cent of voters felt Hart should have been given the boot while 45 per cent feel the club should have kept him. There’s also a rumour circulating that tickets for the next Ladies Day were sold out in five minutes.
