The Phoenix Suns’ very first home loss of the season had to come at some point… so why not against the Cleveland Cavaliers?
LeBron James had 29 points and Mo Williams added 24, forging a late 15-0 run to give the 53%-shooting Cavaliers a 109-91 victory Monday. Heading into the game with a 10-0 homecourt record, the Suns hadn’t lost at US Airways Center since March 12 — to guess who, the Cavs — giving them 19 straight there overall until last night.
Steve Nash had 18 points and 10 assists for Phoenix while Shaq, who made his first appearance since being traded away to Cleveland, contributed just 3 points in 19 minutes with 5 rebounds, a block, a steal and an assist.
Hmm. This would’ve been a much more satisfying reunion for Shaq had he actually touched the basketball more than ten times.
