Rockets Missing Leading Scorer in Game Against Oklahoma City

The Houston Rockets will be without their top scorer – Kevin Martin on Wednesday night when they battle against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Martin hurt his wrist and will take some rest on it.

Martin is scoring 23.2 points per game; as he leads the league in free throws attempted, free throw made; and is among the leaders in free throw percentage. Martin used to be the leading scorer for Sacramento, before being shipped to Houston.

The Rockets are ninth place in the Western Conference; just 2.5 games behind the Portland Trailblazers for the final postseason position in the West. Houston is 10-7 at home on the season, but have won just 7 of 21 games away from home.

The Rockets will host New Orleans on Friday, and hope to have Martin back in action.
