Less than 24 hours after the Indianapolis Colts dumped quarterback Peyton Manning, reports have as many as 12 NFL teams contacting the discarded player about his services. Peyton says he hasn’t even thought about where he’ll sign and he’s still mourning getting cut, but Vegas oddsmakers have six teams as his most likely landing spot, led by the Miami Dolphins.

Here’s your current odds for which team Peyton Manning will be on when the 2012 regular season starts:

• Arizona Cardinals +300
• Seattle Seahawks +350
• Washington Redskins +400
• New York Jets +525
• Kansas City Chiefs +525

Not one of those teams made the playoffs last year, but if Peyton wants to start somewhere, he’ll have to prove he’s healthy after missing all of last season and that he’s really a better quarterback than Rex Grossman or Mark Sanchez.

Peyton Manning on knowing nothing and where he’s at physically:

I haven’t thought about teams and I don’t know who is interested, I really don’t. This is all new to me. I think my agent has been getting calls at 4 o’clock today since this started. I haven’t talked to him because I literally just got off the plane and am ready to start back on my training again because that’s what I need to do .. I have no idea who wants me, what team wants me, how this process works. I don’t know if it’s like college recruiting where you go take visits. I mean, this is all so new to me. … I’m throwing it pretty well. I still have some progress to make, but I’ve come a long way.
