Peyton Manning Is Rex Ryan’s Kryptonite

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan isn’t done lamenting last Sunday’s loss to the mighty Colts. Turns out Rex can’t stand getting beat down by Peyton Manning. Yesterday he spoke with the New York Post and expressed his true feelings for the devil in disguise who wears #18:

“It’s a nightmare watching Peyton do that again to us. He’s cost me two Super Bowl rings. In 2006, when I was defensive coordinator in Baltimore, I thought we had the best team in the NFL that year; we were built to win it that year, and he beat me then and beat us now, this time, more convincing. Got kicked in the butt.” Ryan added: “I’m tired of getting beat by him, you know what I mean? It’s just … he’s great. Maybe that’s my thing. Find a way to get him.”

First of all, I doubt Ryan used the word “butt.” I’m sure it was balls, nuts or ass. Secondly, he’s been around long enough to know that Peyton has been kicking teams’ teeth in for years. You would think Rexy would’ve started finding ways to get him, I dunno, say after the 2006 season. It might be a tad late now.

Sounds to me like Ryan needs a break from football. I’m sure if he rams his head through a plate glass window or downs a tall glass of battery acid, he’ll feel a 1000% better. Ya know, cause he’s old school tough.

    DUDES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peyton is by far the best quarterback in the NFL right now! If he doesn’t figure out how to beat you in the first half, there is no doubt he will in the second half.

It will be interesting to see what he can do against the New Orleans Saints D in the Super Bowl.
