NFL Week 4: Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

Carolina Panthers (0-3) @ New Orleans Saints (2-1)

Time: 1:00pm EST

Point Spread: New Orleans Saints -13.5

Over/Under Line: 44

Preview: The Carolina Panthers have lost their first three games of the season, and on Sunday will run up against a very irritated New Orleans Saints team. The Panthers have two dynamic running backs; Johnathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams, but cannot seem to get them going, as they have run for just 240 yards and a touchdown thus far. Through three games this season, the Panthers offense has managed just 32 points. Steve Smith leads the offense with 2 touchdown receptions.

The Saints, after winning their first two games, took a 27-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Garrett Hartley missed a field goal, and then the Saints offense could not slow down the Falcons offense as they kicked a game winning field goal. New Orleans is dead last in the entire NFL with 57.3 rushing yards per game. Drew Brees in the early going has not been his normal dominates self, but has still thrown for 856 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The Saints are slightly under a two touchdown favorite. The over/under for this game is 44, but Carolina has struggled to score. Look for a 31-14 Saints win in this one.
