Preview: The NFC West title is on the line Sunday in Seattle. The St. Louis Rams will take on the Seattle Seahawks for the division championship, and the rights to a home playoff game. The St. Louis Rams come into the game with the lead in the division; at 7-8. St. Louis was able to eliminate San Francisco last week and essentially assist in the 49ers firing Mike Singletary. The Rams have been led by rookie quarterback Sam Bradford. The former Oklahoma quarterback has completed 335 of 554 passes for 3357 yards and 18 touchdowns. St. Louis has also seen Steven Jackson rush for 1196 yards and 6 touchdowns.
The Seattle Seahawks have lost their last three games and five of their last six games. Seattle took at 38-15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The Seahawks on the season have seen split time between Matt Hasslebeck and Charlie Whitehurst. The two have combined for 13 passing touchdowns. Seattle, on the season have been out scored 401 – 294. The Rams won the first time these two teams played; on October 3rd. In that game, the Rams allowed just a field goal to the Seahawks.
