Preview: The Atlanta Falcons, at the top of the NFC South will take on the Seattle Seahawks; who are tied with the Rams at the top of the NFC West. Atlanta is tied with the New England Patriots for the best record in all of the NFL.
The Falcons are coming off a win over Carolina, which was their seventh straight overall. Atlanta ranks 14th in passing, led by Matt Ryan and his 3147 yards and 22 touchdowns. The run game for the Falcons has been solid; ranking 9th with 124.5 yards per game. Michael Turner leads the Falcons with 11 touchdowns, while Roddy White has 7.
For Seattle, tied with St. Louis atop the NFC West – they are in need of a win. Currently, the Seahawks are on the outside looking in due to their head-to-head loss to the Rams earlier in the season. St. Louis and Seattle will go to battle on the final Sunday of the season. The Seahawks were blasted by San Francisco last week to move them to 6-7 overall. Seattle is the second worst rushing team in the NFL, with just 84.8 yards per game. Justin Forsett and Marshawn Lynch have combined for just 850 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season.
