This week in the NFL has some very intriguing division matchups like the battle of the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys taking on the Philadelphia Eagles and the AFC North showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens, but these games are way too close to call and in my opinion too risky to lay down the money.

Even though these divisional battles are too close to call there are three games that I believe are locks and no brainers to bet on in week nine!

NFL Locks of the Week

Green Bay Packers -9.5 over the Tampa Bay Bucs

The Packers are still licking their wounds after getting beat by Brett Favre and company last weekend at Lambeau Field, but this week they will be going up against the winless Bucs and Aaron Rodgers should have another big performance. Green Bay will be trying to make up some ground here as this game is definitely must win even though a win over the Bucs means nothing, but a W to the Packers.

Atlanta Falcons -10.5 over the Washington Redskins

The Redskins may have been a force to be reckoned with last season in the NFC, but this season they are really hurting coming into week nine against the Falcons with a 2-5 record. Atlanta on the other hand is coming off a disappointing loss to Drew Brees and company and will be looking to get back on track after two straight losses in somewhat of a tune up game against Washington. I expect the Falcons to put up big numbers against the struggling Redskins defense this week.

New Orleans Saints -14.5 over the Carolina Panthers

The Saints are just rolling right now riding high as the last undefeated in the NFC and this week they will improve to 8-0 with a convincing victory over the struggling Panthers. Drew Brees and company have put up huge numbers all season long with five 35+ point games in the five games this season.

The Panthers may not be the worst team in the NFC South this season at 3-4, but they are close and I fully expect the Saints to put another huge number against Carolina.
