NFL Injuries Week 17
Arizona Cardinals: Larry Fitzgerald (left elbow, right knee)
The Arizona Cardinals are playoff bound and most likely will not want to risk further injury to arguably their best player in wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (probable) so I am betting he will play a couple of series then be watching from the sidelines against the Green Bay Packers this weekend.
Baltimore Ravens: Ed Reed (hip, groin)
It has all come down to the last game of the regular season for the Baltimore Ravens as it is do or die. A win clinches them a playoff berth and a lost ends their season.
Unfortunately, the Ravens might be without one of their best defensive players in safety Ed Reed (questionable) yet again.
Carolina Panthers: DeAngelo Williams (ankle), Steve Smith (broken arm)
The season is basically over for the Panthers as they are completely out of the playoff picture, but they have a chance to end the season on a high note by beating the New Orleans Saints in the last game of the regular season.
It might be a struggle for the Panthers to hand the Saints their third loss in a row as they could be without their two best players in running back DeAngelo Williams (questionable) and wide receiver Steve Smith (out).
Dallas Cowboys: Marc Colombo (broken fibula)
The last regular season game is once again a game that will have the NFC East division title hanging in the balance for the Dallas Cowboys when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles, but unfortunately they won’t have offensive tackle Marc Colombo (out).
Denver Broncos: Brandon Marshall (hamstring), Eddie Royal (head, neck)
The Denver Broncos season will be on the line this weekend against the lowly Kansas City Chiefs, but their receiving core has taken a huge hit as of late as the Broncos will be without Eddie Royal (out) and Brandon Marshall (questionable) playing is now in question.
Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford (knee), Kevin Smith (knee)
It has been another disappointing season for the Detroit Lions, but there is some hope for the future with Stafford behind center.
Unfortunately, the Lions will be without this weekend both quarterback Matthew Stafford (out) and running back Kevin Smith (out) who have been shutdown for the season.
Indianapolis Colts: Pierre Garcon (hand), Robert Mathis (quad)
The Colts have wrapped a playoff berth, home field advantage and a first round bye, so they are sitting pretty coming into week 17.
Last week their perfect season ended as they sat some of their starters, this week will be more of the same, but wide receiver Pierre Garcon (out) and defensive end Robert Mathis won’t be playing against the Buffalo Bills.
Miami Dolphins: Ricky Williams (shoulder)
The Dolphins season is practically over, but this weekend could be a disaster against the Pittsburgh Steelers as they could be without Ricky Williams (questionable).
Minnesota Vikings: Pat Williams (elbow), Visanthe Shiancoe (thigh)
It has been a rough few weeks for the Minnesota Vikings as they have suffered three losses in the last four games. This week they will be looking to end their little skid before heading into the playoffs, but they might be without two key players on both sides of the football in defensive tackle Pat Williams (questionable) and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (questionable).
New Orleans Saints: Jeremy Shockey (toe), Pierre Thomas (ribs)
The Saints are no longer perfect, in fact they have lost two straight, but they will try to stop the bleeding this weekend against the Carolina Panthers.
Unfortunately, tight end Jeremy Shockey (questionable) and Pierre Thomas (questionable) probably won’t see much playing time this weekend.
New York Giants: Brandon Jacobs (knee), Mario Manningham (shoulder)
The New York Giants are out of the playoff picture and will probably go through some drastic changes in the offseason to get this team back on track, but there is still one game to play this year against the Minnesota Vikings in which they will be without running back Brandon Jacobs (out) and wide receiver Mario Manningham (questionable) status is still up in the air.
Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Vick (quad)
The Philadelphia Eagles will have their hands full this week against the Dallas Cowboys, but backup quarterback Michael Vick (questionable) could be watching from the sidelines.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Troy Polamalu (knee), Hines Ward (hamstrings), Willie Parker (shoulder)
The injury saga continues for the defending Super Bowl champs as they will go up against the Miami Dolphins with some of their best players in doubt for this game in Troy Polamalu (questionable), Hines Ward (questionable) and Willie Parker (questionable).
