Fantasy Football Injury Update Week 3

The NFL’s second week of the season is officially in the books and as usual, there are some injuries to take notice of if you are playing fantasy football.

Michael Turner, Atlanta Falcons (groin)

During Week 2′s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, fantasy owners of Turner were holding their breath after seeing him suffering from a groin injury that would keep him out of the game after getting off to a quick start with 75 rushing yards.

Michael Turner might not be an Adrian Peterson or Chris Johnson, but he is still considered to be one of the best running backs in this league with a lot of fantasy value, but if he continues to be injury prone, he might start to fall off.

Fortunately, despite missing the second half against the Cardinals, Turner appears to be go to go and ready for Week 3′s matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

NFL Fantasy Sleeper Report: Week 17

NFL Fantasy Sleepers Week 17

Quarterback

Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos will be fighting for their playoff lives this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs as they need to win this game and have a few other games decide their fate. Regardless of the outcome, I fully expect the Broncos to be on their A game in week 17 against the Chiefs.

As a result, quarterback Kyle Orton should have a big game connecting with Brandon Marshall all day long!

Running Back

Reggie Bush, New Orleans Saints

This week is pretty pointless for the New Orleans Saints and they will look to rest a good majority of their starters, especially running back Pierre Thomas who is a little banged up right now with an ailing rib injury.

NFL Fantasy Start ‘Em: Week 17

Start ‘Em

Quarterback

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

History would tell you that starting Romo this week against the Philadelphia Eagles is a bad idea, but with how hot the Cowboys and Romo have been as of late, I believe Tony Romo will finally break out of his funk in big games.

With the NFC East title on the line and the Cowboys playing up to their abilities on both sides of the football over the last two weeks, I think Romo will have a big game and the Cowboys will win the NFC East title this week.

Other notable QBs: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers; Matt Schaub, Houston Texans; Vince Young, Tennessee Titans

Running Back

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars

NFL Fantasy Start ‘Em: Week 16

Start ‘Em

Quarterback

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints may no longer be undefeated after last week’s lost to the Dallas Cowboys, but that won’t stop Drew Brees from having huge day this weekend against the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs were able to give the Saints a run for their money earlier in the season, but this time around I believe Drew Brees will be looking to get his team back to firing on all cylinders!

Other notable QBs: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers; Kurt Warner, St. Louis Rams; Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers

Running Back

Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans

No surprise here as Chris Johnson continues to be red hot coming into week 16′s matchup against the San Diego Chargers on Christmas Day!

NFL Fantasy Sleeper Report: Week 16 This week the Pittsburgh Steelers are going up against their arch rivals in the Baltimore Ravens in perhaps their biggest game of the season. Ben Roethlisberger's favorite target in Hines Ward is questionable for this game with a hamstring injury and with that being said Wallace will get another shot to have another huge game.

NFL Fantasy Start ‘Em: Week 15 This week the Broncos go up against the lowly Oakland Raiders and Marshall has the potential to have another huge day against the Oakland defense.

NFL Fantasy Sleeper Report: Week 15 It seems like every single week the two quarterbacks that are high on the sleeper category are the Tennessee Titans Vince Young and the San Francisco 49ers Alex Smith. Two young quarterbacks that have been given a second chance after getting benched earlier in their careers.

NFL Fantasy Sleeper Report: Week 14 The win over Big Ben and company put Bruce Gradkowski on the map in the NFL as he threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns (one was the game winner) with no interceptions. It is still uncertain whether or not Gradkowski can keep this impressive performances going, but I think he is the real deal!

NFL Fantasy Start ‘Em: Week 14 The Patriots will come into their week 14 matchup against the Carolina Panthers banged up with Tom Brady ailing from three different injuries, but if Brady is able to take the field on Sunday against Carolina expect to see a big day out of Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

NFL Fantasy Start ‘Em: Week 13 Antonio Gates was the man for the San Diego Chargers last week with two touchdowns! This week expect more of the same from all the offensive players on the Chargers as they square off against the lowly Cleveland Browns.
