NFL Fantasy Sleepers Week 17
Quarterback
Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos will be fighting for their playoff lives this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs as they need to win this game and have a few other games decide their fate. Regardless of the outcome, I fully expect the Broncos to be on their A game in week 17 against the Chiefs.
As a result, quarterback Kyle Orton should have a big game connecting with Brandon Marshall all day long!
Running Back
Reggie Bush, New Orleans Saints
This week is pretty pointless for the New Orleans Saints and they will look to rest a good majority of their starters, especially running back Pierre Thomas who is a little banged up right now with an ailing rib injury.
Start ‘Em
Quarterback
Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
History would tell you that starting Romo this week against the Philadelphia Eagles is a bad idea, but with how hot the Cowboys and Romo have been as of late, I believe Tony Romo will finally break out of his funk in big games.
With the NFC East title on the line and the Cowboys playing up to their abilities on both sides of the football over the last two weeks, I think Romo will have a big game and the Cowboys will win the NFC East title this week.
Other notable QBs: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers; Matt Schaub, Houston Texans; Vince Young, Tennessee Titans
Running Back
Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars
Start ‘Em
Quarterback
Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints may no longer be undefeated after last week’s lost to the Dallas Cowboys, but that won’t stop Drew Brees from having huge day this weekend against the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Bucs were able to give the Saints a run for their money earlier in the season, but this time around I believe Drew Brees will be looking to get his team back to firing on all cylinders!
Other notable QBs: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers; Kurt Warner, St. Louis Rams; Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Running Back
Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans
No surprise here as Chris Johnson continues to be red hot coming into week 16′s matchup against the San Diego Chargers on Christmas Day!
NFL Fantasy Sleepers Week 16
Quarterback
Vince Young, Tennessee Titans
Once again, Vince Young is our sleeper quarterback this week as the Tennessee Titans try to keep their playoff hopes alive for one more week going up against the San Diego Chargers on Christmas Day.
The Chargers defense is good, but Vince Young has been on fire as of late as he has been able to hurt opposing defenses both with his feet and most surprisingly in the air!
Running Back
Michael Bush, Oakland Raiders
Coming off his best game of the season against the Denver Broncos last week, in place of injured running back Justin Fargas, Bush rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown.
This week we can expect more of the same from Bush as Fargas’ status is still questionable and the Browns defense is about as bad as it gets in the NFL this season.
