NBA Picks: Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Miami Heat (32-14) @ Oklahoma City Thunder (30-16)

Time: 1:00pm EST

Point Spread: Coming Soon at BetUS

Over/Under Line: TBA

Preview: The Miami Heat will head to Oklahoma City on Sunday to take on the Thunder. This game features two of the best teams in the NBA with LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

The Heat are coming off a narrow win over Detroit on Friday night. In that game, James scored 39 points. On the season, the former Cavaliers score is averaging 26.1 points per game. The Heat rank as the 10th best offensive team and the 5th best defensive team in the league. Oklahoma City used overtime, but downed the Washington Wizards Friday night. Kevin Durant led the way with 40 points, while Russell Westbrook grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 13 assists. Durant leads the team with 28.8 points per game, while Westbrook is just shy of 9 assists per game.

Both teams appear to be heading towards postseason play. Currently, both the Heat and the Thunder lead their respective division.

The Heat are 2.5 games ahead of the Magic and Hawks in the Southeast Division, and second overall in the Eastern Conference. The Thunder are two games ahead of the Nuggets in the Northwest Division. Oklahoma City, if the postseason started today would garner the third seed in the West. The Heat are 15-9 when playing on the road. Miami has won 11 of 18 against teams from the Western Conference. Oklahoma City is 17-6 at home, and have won 14 of 18 against the Eastern Conference.

My Betting Picks: Miami is just too banged up to beat the elite from the Western Conference. LeBron James will be stellar, but not enough to beat the Thunder in Oklahoma City. The Thunder win 105-95.
