Preview: Sunday night, the best players in the National Basketball Association will get together in the All Star Game. The game will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, home of both the Clippers and the Lakers.

The Eastern Conference squad appears to have more youth overall, and have many sets of teammates. Out of the 12 players on the roster, they come from just six different teams. The starters for the Eastern Conference include point guard Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls, along with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James from Miami, Dwight Howard from Orlando and Amare Stoudemire of the Knicks.

On the bench for the Eastern Conference – four Boston Celtics stars. Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. Two Atlanta Hawks stars will also dress for the Eastern Conference – Joe Johnson and Al Horford. The final player on the bench for the Eastern Conference is former Raptors big man Chris Bosh. Bosh is the third of the Miami Heat’s three headed monster.

For the Western Conference, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan are both in their 13th All Star game. They both will start. The other three starters for the West include Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant. The bench for the Western Conference sees DeRon Williams and Russell Westbrook as point guards.

The other guards for the West are Manu Ginobili. Pau Gasol, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love and Dirk Nowitzki round out the West roster.
