Indiana Pacers (12-13) @ Boston Celtics (21-4)
Date: Sunday December 19th, 2010
Time: 1:00 pm EST
Point Spread: Boston Celtics -9
Over/Under Line: 192
Preview: Two teams out of the Eastern Conference will get together on Sunday afternoon in the National Basketball Association. Currently, the Indiana Pacers are in second place in the Central Division; trailing the Chicago Bulls. The Pacers, if the postseason started today would be the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. Indiana would start the playoffs in South Beach against the Heat. Boston leads the Eastern Conference with a 21-4 record. The Celtics are six games ahead of the New York Knicks in the Atlantic Division. Indiana is coming off a 108-99 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night. The Pacers were guided by Danny Granger and his 30 points and 12 rebounds. Indiana has seen Granger average of 20 points per game. The Pacers are 5-7 on the road.
One of the best home teams in the NBA will look to improve upon that Sunday. Boston has won 11 of 12 games when playing at the TD Garden this season. The Celtics are coming off a 102-90 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Boston ranks 10th in the NBA in points scored, as they are averaging 101.5 points per game. The leading scorer for the Celtics has been Paul Pierce and his 18.5 per game.
My NBA Betting Picks: Indiana has gotten better this season, but not enough. Boston wins this game at home. Celtics win 103-91.
