The title of this post is, of course, a reference to the Milwaukee Bucks ENERGEE! Dancers. Seriously, the Bucks may have the hottest dance girls in the league but they’ve definitely got the worst name of any NBA team’s dance troupe. Anyway, NBA betting takes us to Milwaukee as the Bucks host the Boston Celtics. The Bucks have been our personal ATM machine for much of the season, and they’ve been tearing it up of late. They’re currently in 5th place in the Eastern Conference. Boston is in third place, leading fourth place Atlanta by 1 game.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS VS. BOSTON CELTICS
We’re going to bet on the Milwaukee Bucks until they give us a reason to do otherwise, and so far they’ve done nothing close to that. All the Bucks have done this year is go 40-21 against the pointspread including a 19-8 ATS mark as a favorite. They’re currently on a 14-3-1 ATS run with 15 SU wins during that stretch.
In the green corner, we’ve got the Boston Celtics. To their credit, they keep winning basketball games but they’ve been a big moneyburner for sports betting enthusiasts. Boston has failed to cover in 12 of their L19 games. The Bucks have also dominated this series, at least from a pointspread perspective. Over the last three years the Celtics are 7-1 SU but Milwaukee is 5-3 ATS including covering 3 of the L4 at home. Even those solid ATS numbers don’t reflect how good of a basketball team Milwaukee has become since the first of the year and particularly at home where they’re 20-9 SU. Milwaukee has dominated the Atlantic Division this year going 9-3 SU/11-1 ATS and they’ll add another win to both columns with a victory over Boston here.
