Preview: In Detroit, Michigan; the Florida International Panthers will take on the Toledo Rockets in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.

The Panthers come into the game with a 6-6 record on the season. Playing out of the Sun Belt Conference, Florida International is coming off a 28-27 loss to Middle Tennessee. The loss snapped a four game winning streak for the Panthers. Florida International tied with Troy at the top of the conference. The Panthers got the nod as the conference champion due to their 52-35 win over the Trojans. Florida International lost their first four games of the season; to Rutgers, Texas A&M, Maryland and Pittsburgh. The other loss came on the road at Florida Atlantic this season.

Toledo comes in with an 8-4 record. The Rockets lone conference loss came to Northern Illinois. Toledo, in non conference action lost to Arizona, Wyoming and Boise State. The Rockets scored 41 touchdowns on the season and allowed 40. This is the first bowl game for Toledo since 2005. Florida International is making their first bowl appearance in school history. This is the first game between these two teams.
