LA Galaxy Advance to Face FC Dallas

Many predicted an LA win, and that is exactly what those people got. An early goal by Buddle put the Galaxy ahead just 19 minutes into the game. The goal was assisted by none other than the legendary David Beckham. The Galaxy made it 2-0 in the 27th minute when Omar Gonzalez put another one by the Seattle defense. Beckham also assisted on the second goal.

The Galaxy will host FC Dallas in the Western Conference final. Another match up that seems to favor the team from Los Angeles. Steve Zakuani netted a consolation goal for the Sounders in the 87th minute, but other than that it was a game that was dominated by Beckham and co. Donovan Ricketts, LA keeper, was forced into a save from a close range shot from Zakuani in the 67th minute, but other than that the keeper was not kept too busy.

The Sounders were successful this season, but it all came crumbling down against a formidable opponent in the LA Galaxy.
