Kimbo Slice Wins Boxing Debut in 10 Seconds

Former street fighter turned mixed martial artist Kimbo Slice has taken his skills to the boxing ring. His long-awaited debut finally took place, and he was up against James Wade. It didn’t take too long for Kimbo to notch his first victory.

Apparently Wade was taken out of the ring on a stretcher. If that wasn’t chicanery on the promoter’s part, then we wish Wade a very speedy recovery.

That’s all he can do is hit hard and that isn’t nearly enough skill to survive in an MMA ring.

  3. McHamster says:

bahahaha he’s in boxing now? Kudos to him for winning I guess. But he’s still a worse fighter than people make him out to be. Theres a reason he got kicked out of the ufc. (hint, he sucks compared to real fighters)

  4. dodder says:

yeah.. to all the comments above – call him out on his technique compared other fighters standing 6 feet in front of him; the way you comment here and tell me if you still feel the same way after. He’s gone from street fighting to this – not formally trained like the rest of these guys so of course there’ll be a gap. Fact of the matter is he has the muscle for it now he just needs the mastery.

  5. SLimboKice says:

Kimbo left the UFC because his knees are terrible and any leg strikes destroy him.

He was actually a decent fighter and improving day by day.

While I doubt he’ll make it too far in the Boxing Ring(He’s pretty damn old) he’ll fair alot better there not having to worry about having his knees destroyed from kicks.
