The UFC has a brand new light heavyweight champ, and along with that they also have a “first”. Jon Jones will be the first UFC fighter to ever appear on “The Tonight Show.”

UFC president Dana White tweeted that Jones will appear on Thursday night’s edition of the show.

MMAjunkie.com has confirmed the booking with UFC executives, so get your DVR’s ready. I don’t expect anyone to have to sit through a live show with Leno. Unless Jones was using him to demonstrate different submission moves. Who wouldn’t want to see that?
