A popular Italian porn actress named Sara Tommasi has been hired to run the Marruvium soccer club in her homeland. The amateur team recently appointed her to the boardroom, but it’s not quite clear what her exact duties will be. The 34-year-old Tommasi has acted in several porn movies of the hardcore variety in the past and has also reportedly dated several top soccer players such as Mario Balotelli of Italy and Brazil’s Ronaldinho. She’s also known to have numerous high-profile contacts in very high places. These include Silvio Berlusconi, the former prime minister of Italy.

Berlusconi told the press that he’s a big fan of Tommasi after meeting her originally at one of his private parties. Tommasi confirmed to the media that she was on friendly terms with the ex-PM and stated, “He was very impressed with me and my looks. He said I had beauty and intelligence, I should go into politics. He said it would be a steady wage. Silvio is always willing to help people. But I told him I just wanted to be an actress.”

However, it appears that she’s now more than just an actress and has found a new position with the Marruvium club. Tommasi has obviously shied away from Berlusconi’s career advice and has entered the world of football, which is quite similar to politics since it’s also filled with liars and cheats. Her new club staged a marketing and promotional event after Tommasi was hired as she posed for clothed photos with the team’s staff and players. Tommasi was always quite popular in Italy and she now has approximately 100,000 Twitter followers along with close to another 40,000 on Instagram.

The Marruvium team plays in the second division east of Rome in Italy’s Abruzzo Region, which lies on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The club is obviously hoping she’ll be able to raise its profile and perhaps a few other things during her stay with the team. Romeo Love, who is the president of Marruvium although he has a name suited for the porn industry himself, said he is honoured that Tommasi has agreed to join the club. Tommasi added that she’ll be taking her new job seriously and can’t wait to get started.
