The PGA tour’s second-to-last tournament of the season starts this Thursday at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi. As is with most late-season events, the star power leaves a bit to be desired in this one. However, there is certainly still money to be made at this week’s event. (Odds  to win the tournament are included with each player.)

The always dangerous Czech finished 8^th last week and will be looking for a positive finish to a somewhat disappointing season. He could be in the hunt come the Sunday’s final back nine.

The Frys.com Open kicks off at the Grayhawk Golf Course in Scottsdale, Arizona this week. Just so you know, Fry’s is an electronics store that, unless you live in California or Texas, you have probably never heard of.

This week’s field is largely devoid of any big-time names, but you will recognize some PGA tour stalwarts kicking around who could make you some nice coin this week in the desert. (Vegas odds  to win the tournament are included with each player.)

Mike Weir  15/1

The smooth-swinging Canadian lefty comes into this tournament as the odds-on favourite – and for good reason. Weir is currently ranked 28^th in the world, having earned $2.2 million in 2009. He has enjoyed five top 10 finishes this season but has yet to break through with a  victory. Keep in mind, Weir won this tourney in 2007 so he obviously has a high level of comfort on this track.
