Final Four: UConn (3) vs. Kentucky (4)

UConn Huskies (3) vs. Kentucky Wildcats (4) Sat. April 2, 2011 8:49 p.m. EST

There is no question that coming into the Final Four of the 2011 NCAA Tournament the most anticipated game of the two scheduled is the UConn Huskies (3) taking on the Kentucky Wildcats (4). Not only are there superstar caliber players on the floor like Player of the Year candidate Kemba Walker, but there are also two of the best head coaches in the game today in Jim Calhoun (UConn) and John Calipari (Kentucky) calling the shots on the sidelines.

Needless to say, this game has the makings of something truly special as this matchup could go down in the history books once the final buzzer sounds in the second half. Interestingly enough, despite the fact that the UConn Huskies (3) are the hottest college basketball team in the country right now after doing what they did in the Big East Tournament and taking out teams like the San Diego State Aztecs and the Arizona Wildcats in consecutive games, Kemba Walker and company will be the underdogs coming into this game against John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats (4).

As of right now, the Kentucky Wildcats (4) have been given the edge to come out on top in this Final Four showdown with a -2 point spread. Even though the Wildcats do have the potential to win this game and advance to the National Championship game, I believe the UConn Huskies (3) are just playing out of their minds right now and will come out with the win to pull off the slight upset.
