Strikeforce fighter Josh Thomson is known as “The Punk”, but he in this clip he is the one getting punked by his AKA teammates, including Daniel Cormier.
It’s a great prank if you’re on the other end of it — not so much if you think your truck has been stolen.
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays won their fourth straight game with a 2-1 home win over the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night. The win keeps the Devil Rays in a tie for first place in the American League East, while the Red Sox remain mired in last place. Devil Rays starter Jeremy Hellickson earned the win with six strong innings, while outfielder Matt Joyce scored the winning run on a shallow sac fly in the sixth.
Joyce made the decision to try to score the go-ahead run when he saw Red Sox outfielder Cody Ross struggle with a pop fly in historic Tropicana Field’s white roof. “I wasn’t really planning on going until I saw Cody Ross kind of backpedal,” Joyce said. “The Trop can be tough sometimes for outfielders. It’s hard to see the ball when you’re not used to it. He started backpedaling. As an outfielder, I know it’s hard to get a lot on your throw and make a really good throw when you’re on the heels of your feet and backpedaling. I took a shot and it worked out.”
I think this could be described as a donnybrook. Ron Burgundy might call it ‘a vicious cockfight’. Whatever you want to call it, I bet you haven’t seen anything like it before: a wicked lacrosse brawl!
Dig these cats even throwing off their helmets to go at it! Warriors, I tell you!!
The PGA Tour heads to Texas this week for the 2012 HP Byron Nelson Championship, where old-timer Phil Mickelson is a slight betting favorite at 10/1 over fellow American Matt Kuchar and Australian Adam Scott.
