The struggles continued for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. They lost to their former star LeBron James and the Miami Heat. The loss for Cleveland was their 21st straight loss. 21 losses are just as many as the Cavaliers lost the entire season in 2009-2010. The Cavaliers are now just two losses shy of the NBA record of 23 by the 95-96 Grizzlies and 97-98 Nuggets.
Dwyane Wade scored 34 points in the win, with 26 of them coming in the first half. LeBron James scored 24 points and dished out 8 assists in the third appearance against his old team. The Heat have beaten the Cavaliers all three times.
The Cavaliers will attempt to snap their losing streak when division foe Indiana comes to town on Wednesday. Following that, Cleveland will head to Memphis on Friday and host Portland on Saturday. For Miami, they will head out on the road for two straight divisional games. On Thursday the Heat are at Orlando and Friday they play at Charlotte before hosting the Clippers on Sunday.
