Chris Henry has suffered what his team is calling a “very serious” injury after a “car accident” this afternoon in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver tumbled from the back of a pickup truck in what police say stemmed from a domestic dispute which possibly began at his fiance’s parents’ home. Apparently, he hopped into the bed of the truck while his (unnamed) fiance was driving away.
The Charlotte Observer reported that the cops found the 26-year-old father of three lying in the road with life-threatening injuries.
Henry went on injured reserve in the beginning of November after suffering a broken left arm. He’s in critical condition and could use our thoughts and/or prayers.
