The Chicago Bulls are one of the youngest and most promising teams in the NBA today, but even though they had the money to drastically upgrade their roster this summer through free agency, they fell short as the Miami Heat dominated the market by signing the three biggest names available in Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and most notably LeBron James.
Despite the Bulls being unable to convince one of the big three to come to Chicago to compete for an NBA title alongside Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and new acquired Carlos Boozer, the Bulls aren’t done wheeling and dealing just yet as they have their sights set on two former All-Stars to fill the void at small forward and shooting guard.
The two All-Star caliber players that the Chicago Bulls are targeting right now are former two-time scoring champion Tracy McGrady and Dirk Nowitzki’s former running mate Josh Howard. Even though both of these players would be great additions to an already talented Bulls team led by one of the best point guards in the league in Derrick Rose, both Howard and McGrady have been injury prone over the years and a big risk if they were to be the starters in Chicago.
Despite the high injury risk, Howard and McGrady could be the missing pieces to the puzzle in Chicago and a welcome addition to a team that is on the brink of having a breakout season. If these two former All-Star can play at a high level once again they could arguably turn the Chicago Bulls back into a title contender in the Eastern Conference once again.
Obviously, the Chicago Bulls will have their work cut out for them in the East as they will have to contend with the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic and the new NBA superpower in the Miami Heat, but with the right veterans in the mix to help guide superstar Derrick Rose and up and coming center Joakim Noah, the Bulls could be a serious force to be reckoned with from here on out.

Tmac and josh howard, tho both all stars, arent in the same atmosphere. Howard at best is an awesome third option or a decent second option. Tmac at his best is one of the most talented all around player sin the league. Howard is also anti american and uneducated and has a bad tude.
