Last year Carrie Prejean gained notoriety when she denounced gay marriage during the Miss USA Pageant before finishing second.  Last June, she was stripped of her Miss California title for “breach of contract,” then sued, then withdrew her lawsuit when a sex tape surfaced. Supposedly Prejean was alone on the tape. In what is perhaps an indication of how far she has fallen in a year, Prejean is scheduled to marry crappy NFL quarterback Kyle Boller this Friday.

Boller was recently signed by the Oakland Raiders to back up Jason Campbell.  Boller has compiled a 70.6 career QB rating over his 6-year NFL career with previous stops in Baltimore and St. Louis.  Boller had previously dated Tara Reid, while Prejean used to go with pot-smoking swimmer Michael Phelps.  Prejean and Boller had been dating for a year and a half.

The couple got engaged a few months ago.  Prejean’s mother told Access Hollywood that the proposal was like something out of the 2004 film “The Notebook.” I’m proud to say I don’t know what that means, but I’m sure we should all be disgusted and hope they’re both infertile.  Boller got her a 5 carat diamond ring — he made around $1.5 million with the Rams last season.
