Yee- haw!! Have you heard Buffalo Bills GM Buddy Nix speak? The man is one entertaining gent. The local beat writers should have no trouble filling their columns as long as Nix is around. He has pizazz and gumption.

Considering he hired Chan Gailey, I’m pretty sure Nix sucks as a GM, but that doesn’t mean he lacks redeeming qualities. His accent alone should be worth the price of admission to any and all press conferences he attends. Listen for yourself:

The Bills got 15 calls a day? I wonder if Buddy realizes that Phil McCrevis and Hugh G. Rection don’t count as legitimate candidates.  Anyway, he did take a shot at the pathetic Raiders, so that’s another notch on the plus side.

For my money, the best thing about Nix is that he starred in one of the greatest movie comedies of all time: Mel Brooks’ classic Blazing Saddles. Check it out:
